I was Born in Cosenza (Italy) and therefore I´m an Italian native speaker. I speak fluently English and German and have a good understanding of Spanish. I have graduated in Clinical Neuroscience (CLINS), doctoral program of the Medical University of Vienna (Austria). I have specialized in cognitive neuropsychology with a background in "Diagnosis and Rehabilitation of Cognitive Disorders" (second-level Master's degree in Psychology). In more, I´m a certified European clinical psychologist. Curently I´m active as lectures in BL, JC and PS for the doctoral program Clinical Neuscience.
I´m also member of the neonatal neurology research group (guided from Prof. Klebermass-Schrehof and Prof. Resch), of the austrian neonatal brain club, of the cognitive neuroscience lab (guided from Prof. Bartha-Doering), and I´m activelly involved in the neonatal follow-up clinic for children born preterm (guieded from Dr. Fuiko). I consider myself as an expert in neonatal neurophysiologist, but i´m also confident in other research methods like fNIRS and eyetracking.
Currently i´m involved in several research projects concerning both the development of the central nervous system as well as the cognitive assessment of premature babies. The main focus of my research is:
